One Piece Devil Fruit Lamp - "Soru Soru No Mi - Soul Soul Fruit"
 
Another powerhouse Devil Fruit and one whom we cant really loose the feeling that its powers still remain a bit unclear to lots of people. The Soru Soru No Mi belongs to one of the 4 Emperors - Charlotte Linlin aka Big Mom. Or should we probably say it truly belongs to her foster mother Carmel and both she and with her the Devil fruit ended up in Big Moms stomach, transfering the Soul Soul fruits power to Linlin!?
The abilitys given by that Paramecia type of Devil Fruit are very versatile, offensively and defensively. While the Yonkou is able to steal parts of the soul or even fully a soul of a living beeing which is afraid of her, she is then able to put this soul in non living objects, making them "Homies" and let them work for her. She can also use this power to insert it into her own body parts and "heal" them in this unique way. Another way she uses the Soru Soru No Mi is to take pieces from her own soul to create much more powerful Homies like Zeus, Prometheus, Napoleon and Hera. And for the real power up in battle she can use parts of her own soul to fairly increase her size and strength.
 
The design of that special fruit took us a while. After all its one of the big shots and shouldnt look too ordinary. We tried different shapes and possibilitys of giving it a "living" look, something that flows or shines. But it wasnt before we took a break in our very own garden that we got a hint. Around the time of cold months  the cute little physalis / Cape gooseberrie plants has an unique look. While its fruit shines goldenish orange from within, the cover leafs become almost transparent and look like grids making the fruit looking like souls floating in a body. By recognizing this little fellow we instantly knew it was the ideal design for the Soul Soul fruit.
 
Its making is a bit more complicated, since we are using 2 different colored objetcs to make it become one.
